Weaving Connection into Rest
Practice: Three Circles Relaxation
Rest, relaxation, taking a moment to pause or breathe: these topics sit in the - easy to talk about, hard to actually do - categories. Right there when you read that, it’s possible a part of you thought something along the lines of “resting isn’t hard…I just don’t have time for it.” This is what I’m looking forward to diving into more.
This topic of resting has an elusive quality to it. Things get a little slippery, mysterious; it seems almost clear enough to grasp and then it fades into mist. When relaxation is brought up it almost triggers two responses within : a yearning or pining, and a dismissal. This confirms, high quality rest and recovery takes practice and strength.
So, we become weavers. We weave the tangible and intangible together; what we can feel with what we cannot fathom. This short session has you connect + move individual joints. Tell me: how did you feel at the beginning compared to how you felt at the end?
